Metalworking and Plastics

In the metalworking & plastics industries, custom manufacturers often must gauge their tolerances by 1/1000th’s of an inch. These are the same qualities they need in insurance coverage… coverage as precise as the parts they are making for others.
At Smith, Bell & Thompson, we understand their business. After all, we have underwritten and marketed custom insurance for the metalworking & plastics industries for many years.
Our program is based on the careful study of these specialized industries and is insured through a national insurance carrier rated A by A.M. Best.
Whether you’re looking to cover a custom precision machine shop in New York, a metal finisher in Michigan, or an injection molding operation in California, we have a policy that's just right for you.
